Devorah Schwartz ‘Beyond’ Tour Uplifts Women Around the Globe

Devorah Schwartz’s world tour brought music to cities that the frum female industry had never reached, bringing music and elul inspiration to women and girls around the globe.

The female concert space is a relatively new industry that has caught fire recently. But when you travel out of the tri-state area, an all-female concert experience is hard to find for frum girls.

Devorah Schwartz aimed to change that as she embarked on her “Beyond Tour”, produced by SING Entertainment.

Devorah traveled to ten cities spanning across six countries over the course of three weeks, a feat that had never been accomplished before in the female music world.

The tour began in the Poconos, heading from there across the pond for a pair of shows in London and Manchester. Then Devorah was off to Antwerp and Zurich before returning to finish the tour in North America. The US leg began in Seattle, before continuing in Houston, Scottsdale, Atlanta and wrapping up in Toronto.

“Getting to experience such diverse types of crowds night after night and watching music touch them was something I’ll carry with me for a very long time,” Devorah shared with COLlive. “One night it was a Challah bake with all secular ladies, and the very next night it would be watching hundreds of girls come alive at their first-ever full concert. What was fascinating was that no matter the location, the language they spoke, or their Jewish involvement level, they all connected to the songs the same. When “Am Yisrael Chai” came on, they all sang with the same heart, whether it was a young frum girl in Antwerp, or a secular woman in her 40s in Seattle. It was just surreal.”

The tour was the live debut of Devorah’s new album titled “Beyond” which encapsulates what the tour was all about. Rising beyond all that we were used to and thought was possible.

“We help arrange a nice amount of tours and events for shluchim, but I don’t think we ever had one fill up with cities as quickly after posting the message on our group,” tour director Chaim Zippel shared with COLlive.

Devorah’s album “Beyond” is available for streaming wherever you enjoy your music.
